Software Engineer in Test (Python/Javascript)
12 month contract with view to go Permanent

Working within the product development team, writing test software and building test systems. Your focus will be functional testing of custom monitoring systems that run on a variety of platforms. You will collaborate with the development team on new platform and product development, as well as test update releases to systems.

The role is likely to be suitable to someone who enjoys technical challenges to develop, using up-to-date technologies in an agile development environment.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with development teams to develop test strategies and specifications
  • Development of test automation systems in Python
  • Development of test and software quality processes
Essential areas of experience:
  • Bachelor level degree in a relevant software or engineering discipline.
  • Strong skills in Python/C++/C#
  • Automation experience highly advantageous but not required
  • Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Stash, Bamboo/Jenkins
